Corporate Social Responsibility

DCM has always endeavoured to uplift the concept of corporate social responsibility. The interests of the community have always been of much concern to The DCM Group and wherever possible it has contributed to their fulfilment

As a recreation facility the magnificent Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts regularly holds theatre and musical gatherings. 
 
Shri Ram Centre for Industrial Relations and Human Resources is an autonomous, non-profit academic institution engaged in research, training and consultancy in the fields of Industrial Relations/Human Resource Management and Rural Labour.

Education:  The Group's interest in education dates back to over 60 years, when it setup up its first school in Delhi. Today DCM is also running four Educational Institutions viz. DCM Boys Senior Secondary School and DCM Girls Senior Secondary School in Delhi, which cater to the lower income group of the society. The schools are recognized and affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education; there are more than 990 students on the rolls in different classes.                      
 
Another School managed by DCM Textiles at Hisar provides education along with facilities for computer knowledge, sports and cultural activities to children. Scholarships and free books are also provided to meritorious students of the school. To help the student's coming from poor and uneducated families additional classes are also arranged.                                                                                                         
 
DCM Textiles encourages adult employees towards continuing education by support in form of free tutorials, books and note books.
 
Health: DCM Textiles organizes regular free medical camps for its employees and their families. Doctors advise and educate the community on various health issues as a preventive measure
 
Environment: The Company maintains large number of trees on its campus which are helping to save the environment
 
Community Development: Employees participate in cultural activities on various occasion like Dr. Bharat Ram's birthday, Independence Day and Republic day of India, Mata Jagran is also held on 1st May every year.
